Calculator information
Calculator inputs are processed in your browser. TrueCost does not require an account and does not send those values to a TrueCost database. A small number of useful values may be saved in local browser storage so another relevant calculator can reuse them. If you choose “Save,” up to three named scenarios per calculator are also kept locally on that device. Saved inputs are not added to the page URL. Use “Clear all saved calculator data” inside any calculator to remove TrueCost scenarios and the reusable salary value, or clear browser storage through your browser settings.
Analytics and advertising
Analytics and advertising are disabled by default. If either is enabled in the future, this policy and any required consent controls will be updated before data is collected. Providers may use cookies or similar technologies under their own policies.
Information you send
If you contact TrueCost, the message and contact details you provide may be retained long enough to respond, resolve the issue, and maintain reasonable records. Do not send sensitive financial information.
Technical records and changes
Hosting providers may process ordinary server logs such as IP address, browser type, requested page, and timestamp for security and reliable operation. This policy may change as the service evolves; material updates will appear here with a revised effective date.
